Unable to connect to wifi, “For accessing the wireless network SSID you need to provide a password below:”

I’m using Ubuntu 20.04 with KDE Plasma 5.18.5. I entered my SSID and password details in Connections, but whenever I try to connect to my WiFi network, a popup shows and says “For accessing the wireless network SSID you need to provide a password below:”. When I enter the password and click OK, it just says connecting for about 10 seconds and the popup appears again. When I click cancel, a notification appears and says that no secrets were provided and couldn’t connect.

Wifi works on Windows. I have a Realtek 8821CE (note I had to install the drivers for Ubuntu manually from here: https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce)

I already tried disabling KDE Wallet, and it makes no difference. I also tried changing the password to “Store password for all users (unencrypted)” and it makes no difference.
