I’m trying to verify sync status of content library items in 6.7 via the API. I’m restricted to using PowerCLI 11.5 for now, so using the com.vmware.content.library[.item][.file] services.
I ran into a case where the ContentVersion numbers were all the same, but one of the files had a drastically different file size.
The file object has a checksum_info property that sometimes includes a checksum. I can’t find any way to tell vSphere to generate that checksum, and it doesn’t always show up on servers where I know the sync was successful.
Any idea where I should look for that setting or function?
